ITWeb, in partnership with KnowBe4 Africa, is running a survey to find out how SA organisations have been impacted by ransomware and how they are responding to the ransomware and cyber extortion (Cy-X) threat.

The survey asks, among other things:

1. How well prepared are you for a ransomware attack?
2. If attacked, would your company pay a ransom?
3. What countermeasures do you feel are most effective in preventing ransomware?

Individual responses to the survey questions will remain anonymous, although respondents will have to submit their contact information to qualify for the lucky draw prize.

By completing the questionnaire, you’ll contribute to this local research project and stand a chance to win a Takealot voucher to the value of R3 000. The detailed results of the survey, and the prize winner, will be published on ITWeb.
