Camilo is the Head of Data & Analytics for Barclays Bank Mozambique. He started his professional life as Electronic Engineer.

After 7 year performing different activities such as: IT Governance, Enterprise Architecture and Managing several projects as a Project Portfolio Management Specialist, he left the telecoms for the banking sector.

Barclays acquired Camilo as the Data Specialist to support the strategy creation and foundation. He has been working for Barclays for the last 5 years having achieved the objective of having a data driven organization where he takes decisions based on insights from local and external data

Dietmar joined TymeBank just over 3 years ago, building up their analytics and data team as well as overseeing the design and build of the Data Lake and Advanced Analytics platform. TymeBank is South Africa’s first fully licensed fully digital bank that is founded on simplicity, transparency and affordability. Dietmar has a BSc (Hons) in Actuarial.
Mathematics with honours from the University of Pretoria. He lectured in the Actuarial field for a couple of years before he joined the banking sector 15 years ago. He spent time at Nedbank and Standard Bank, leading and building various lending, data science, machine learning and big data teams.

Marius is responsible for driving the knowledge management strategy for The Fochini Group. Part of that is leveraging low-code solutions (Microsoft SharePoint, Office 365, PowerApps, Flow, PowerBI) to create fast, agile, innovative solutions for TFG's various divisions.

Thirusha is a transformational innovation professional with the confidence to seize business opportunities; stays current by continuous learning and following thought leaders in the industry. She makes an impact by driving collaboration and inclusion, while ensuring the delivering of quality client solutions and IT services.

She is an active participation in the organisational, IT and digital strategies at a global level including development, alignment, transformation and leading of IT and business strategic initiatives within a customer centric mind-set. Thirusha has deep experience in mentoring, research and development of technology roadmaps, innovation, ROI's and team leadership at an Exco level, reporting to the CEO and Group CIO. Her experience across various IT roles operations, development, network and management consulting, has been applied over multiple industries and international organisations.

James has been developing software for 20+ years – everything from VB6 and PHP to Golang and C#. Having had a hand in developing on every layer of the stack, he has a strong preference for the back-end, with a special appreciation for RDBMS and micro-services. His passion, lately, is for quality. James has created a number of DevOps pipelines with the aim of "pushing quality left", detecting and fixing quality issues as close to the developer’s workstation as possible.

Omphemetse is a qualified Industrial Engineer and has obtained his Master of Philosophy Degree in Engineering Management. He successfully completed his Absa I Lead program through Duke Corporate Education in May 2012.

He has been involved in business process improvement initiatives throughout his career in the manufacturing, supply chain management, banking, and Insurance and Telecommunications sectors. Omphemetse has served in the South African Institute of Industrial Engineering, and has participated in various committees

Omphemetse has gained invaluable experience in the following fields: Operations Management, Continuous process improvement, Supply Chain Management (Transport and Distribution), Business Process Re-Engineering, Engineering Management, Quality Assurance Management and People Management.

Omphemetse is passionate about Innovation, Customer Experience, Total Quality Management and embedment of sustainable solutions within the business operations.

Herman is the founder and CEO of Future Advisory, a global professional advisory business and investment firm. He has been a strategy advisor for over 12 years to large blue chip firms and has been a Business School facilitator in parallel with his corporate life for over 20 years.
Herman was responsible for developing and growing the Digital business at MTN as the Group Chief Digital Officer. Herman led the technical team involved in building MTN Banking, one of the world’s first JV’s between a Bank and a Telco. The project was completed in nine months and went on to win the Mastercard Global Award for product innovation.
Herman was also at Vodacom SA where he held a position of Managing Executive: m-commerce for two years. Here he launched Vouchercloud which was the highest rated and most downloaded app in its first year in the market.
He was also previously the CEO of Beyond Payments (from 2007 to 2012), the Innovation and New Business Incubator in Standard Bank, the largest Bank in Africa.
He was previously the Divisional Managing Director of the Industry Division within the Siemens Company for over four Years (1996 - 2000).
