Sabinet launches first-ever true mobile legislation app

Sabinet is excited to announce the launch of their new Mobile app, which is now available for download by Sabinet's SA Legislation (NetLaw) clients, from the Apple App Store.

The development of this app came about as a result of an overwhelming need expressed by clients from law libraries, who require access to legislation on the move, offline and outside the office. This new app will ensure that subscribers to Sabinet's SA Legislation (NetLaw) service are kept up-to-date and informed wherever they are. "We wanted to develop an app that addressed the key needs of our clients, which we identified as not having access to up-to-date legal information offline," states Rosalind Hattingh, MD of Sabinet.

In this digital age it is imperative that attorneys have access to legislation on the move, when attending court, visiting clients or working from home. It is equally important to access these valuable pieces of legislation where there is little or no Internet connectivity. Sabinet has closed this gap by allowing subscribers of the SA Legislation (NetLaw) service to push or download any specific legislation they may require prior to leaving the office to their mobile app. By doing this, clients are assured that they can access the required documentation wherever they are without having to carry around files of printed documentation.

"The success behind this development is as a result of many hours of collaboration between Sabinet and our clients, which ensures that this app will meet the challenges arising from the changing information landscape. People want to receive and consume information differently today and we recognise that, "added Rosalind. "We are extremely delighted by the efforts of our in-house development team," she concluded.

The functionality of the app allows clients to search within an Act and make notes and comments in general, or in terms of sections of an Act. What is significant is that users will also receive update notifications via the app to their mobile device. This app is easy to use, available online and offline and allows access to reliable legislation. Additionally users can share information with colleagues with just a click of a button.

Users can now download this app to their iPhone or iPad free of charge when subscribed to Sabinet's SA Legislation (NetLaw) service. Although the Mobile app is currently only available on IOS, Sabinet has plans to roll it out on Android in the not so distant future.

Sabinet's SA Legislation service offers all updated and consolidated Acts, Rules and Regulations. This collection is the most comprehensive, up-to-date collection of national legislation. By using Sabinet's legal products, can make users frontrunners in their industries and able make informed business decisions.

SA Legislation for iPhone is available to download via the App Store by searching for Sabinet and selecting the SA Legislation app.
