Governance on the rise
More businesses across the globe are stepping up their IT governance efforts, according to a study, reports News.com.
The "IT Governance Global Status Report 2008" claims that 34% of respondents, compared to 19% in 2005, are implementing practices that address IT governance.
Commissioned by the IT Governance Institute and conducted every two years, the study surveyed about 750 C-level executives from 23 countries between July and October last year.

With more than 100 scheduled speakers from companies such as Microsoft, IBM and Oracle, it will once again showcase thought leadership and best practices in the field of identity management.
Delegates will also hear from founders and chief executives of some of the innovative vendors in the identity management industry, many of whom will be available for interviews.
