Selectica, a provider of contract lifecycle management (CLM) solutions, will be holding its second annual Contract Management Summit, Fusion '08, at the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa, from 26 to 28 October, says Market Watch.

This year's conference will focus on "Improving Revenue and Reducing Risk in a Compliance Driven World," and will include presentations and group discussions to help attendees get more value from CLM and help them use contract management to support regulatory compliance.

Highlighting Fusion '08, will be keynote presentations by noted industry experts and research analysts on topics.

Ariba, JetBlue extend relationship

Ariba, a spend management solutions provider, has expanded its relationship with JetBlue Airways Corporation, says Business Wire.

In an effort to maintain its cost structure and competitive advantage, JetBlue is broadening its portfolio of on-demand spend management solutions to include Ariba Procure-to-Pay.

Jet Blue will leverage the offering, along with Ariba's sourcing, contract management and supplier performance management solutions, to streamline its procurement process and drive savings and efficiencies that positively impact its bottom line.

Selectica announces results

Selectica, a provider of enterprise contract lifecycle management and sales configuration solutions, announced financial results for its first fiscal quarter ending 30 June 2008, says Market Watch.

Revenue for the first quarter was $3.8 million compared to $4.3 million for the same period in the previous year.

"The changes we announced in July included a significant restructuring and senior leadership changes at the company, including the departure of the CEO," says Brenda Zawatski, co-chair of Selectica.
