Gareth James

Gareth James is a virtualisation and cloud specialist. He is a published author and is involved in numerous facets of virtualisation and cloud computing. He is a graduate of the University of Natal, where he took an honours degree in Electronic Engineering. He then studied for an array of IT certifications. James worked in London for 10 years before returning to South Africa, where he is now based. In 2009, he was a contributing author to: "The Real Citrix CCA Exam Preparation Kit: Prepare for XenApp 5.0". In 2010 he published his work: “Citrix XenDesktop Implementation: A Practical Guide for IT Professionals". James has been a prolific blogger and is a group owner of the largest South African IT related LinkedIn group: “Virtualization and Cloud Computing in South Africa”.
