Chris van Niekerk

Regional director of McAfee South Africa.

Chris van Niekerk, regional director of McAfee South Africa, began his career within the local IT industry on the technical side. In the early eighties, he was employed by Telkom (then the Department of Posts and Telecoms) within the software environment as a programmer. He then moved into product sales with Computer Alliance and later joined 3Com, where he remained for nine years as country manager for Sub-Saharan Africa. Van Niekerk joined McAfee in 2004 in his current capacity.
