Janco van Niekerk is a data scientist in the KID Group. Since graduating from the University of Pretoria with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, he has obtained over five years of software engineering and machine learning experience. He strives to keep abreast of the latest developments in data science by reading academic research and experimenting with new algorithms.
Van Niekerk has exposure to an array of different business functions, and is proficient in integrating multiple systems, leading technical teams and creating end-to-end data products.
