Cloud, mobile change IT management

Johannesburg, 10 May 2011

The swing to cloud and mobile computing are making sweeping changes to IT service management.

Kaseya Connect Africa 2011 executive forum

More information about the Kaseya Connect Africa 2011 executive forum, which takes place on 7 June at The Forum in Bryanston, is available online here.

This is according to Kaseya's regional manager for Africa, Garth Hayward, who adds that mobile computing is the most disruptive new technology in the world of IT service management while cloud computing is also changing the face of systems management.

Underlining the surge of interest in cloud computing is the news that Kaseya's new cloud software-as-a-service platform has enjoyed adoption roughly 200% higher than expected since its release in SA three months ago.

With the new disruptive technologies in mind, Kaseya recently released new solutions specifically tailored for IT service management for cloud computing and the mobile enterprise.

The company will run workshops on these new tools at its Kaseya Connect Africa 2011 event, to be staged in partnership with ITWeb, in Johannesburg and Cape Town next month.

Kaseya's international heads, president Gerald Blackie and chairman Mark Sutherland, will also travel to SA for the first time to address the events on global trends and Kaseya's roadmap.
