Blue Turtle offers updated Serena solutions to South African organisations

Blue Turtle Technologies today announced the availability of two new software releases for the South African IT market. Developed by Serena Software, Dimensions CM 12.1 and PVCS Version Manager 8.4.2 are designed to help South African IT organisations develop and deliver releases more efficiently.

Dimensions CM is an industry-leading software change and configuration management (SCCM) solution, which forms part of the Serena Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Solution, that helps enterprise IT organisations seamlessly orchestrate application change and configuration practices across disparate platforms, environments, and teams.

Dimensions CM 12.1 significantly extends its “Release Vault” capabilities, further streamlining deployment and enhancing stakeholder visibility across the path to production. Dimensions CM 12.1 provides significant new enhancements, including a centralised Release Manager Console, greater granularity and flexibility for deployments, and multi-view reports.

PVCS Version Manager (VM) helps smaller development organisations with tailored version control capabilities. PVCS VM 8.4.2 provides significant performance improvements for users of IDE integrations with Eclipse and Visual Studio.
