Embarcadero Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with Rocket Software, a provider of software solutions for a number of global OEM partners. Under the agreement, the two companies are enhancing DBArtisan, the database administration solution, with exclusive features to support IBM DB2 for OS/390.
This extension of support will enhance the tool`s functionality and features and allow users to improve database administration across the enterprise.
The partnership with Rocket provides the large number of IBM mainframe users with DBArtisan`s features that simplify management of database infrastructures, reducing the time and costs of managing multiple databases.
With Embarcadero`s strength in IBM DB2 Universal Database (UDB), DBArtisan is a comprehensive cross-platform solution for maintaining enterprise databases.
