Corel Corporation, producer and marketer of the popular Corel WordPerfect line of business productivity software, today announced the availability of the Afrikaans Language Module for use with Corel WordPerfect Suite 8 and Corel WordPerfect Suite 8 Professional. The Afrikaans Language Module consists of a spell checker and is available free of charge for download at http://www.corel.com/international/southafrica/toagree.htm. It can also be obtained on a 3.5-inch disk from Corel Customer Service, at 0800 234211. Shipping and handling charges will apply to orders to Customer Service. "By making the Afrikaans spell checker available as a free downloadable, we want to reiterate our commitment to the special needs of the South African market," said Kevin Barwin, marketing and sales manager for the region at Corel Corporation. Corel Corporation has recently released a new version of the Corel WordPerfect Language Module, which contains the Afrikaans writing tools plus modules for over 20 other languages and eight different versions of Corel WordPerfect. Available for a suggested retail price of R 250, the Language Module CD-ROM can be purchased through local retail outlets or Corel Customer Service at 0800 234211.
