Hybrid education is here to stay, and educators need all the resources they can get to help them deliver the same experience to students at home and in the classroom.

Here are some of the top technologies designed to support an immersive, inclusive hybrid teaching and learning experience:

Noise-cancelling headphones

When working from noisy environments, particularly for long hours online, educators should invest in a headset with noise-cancelling technology and soft, replaceable ear pads, Logitech recommends. Look out for wireless devices if you plan to spend most of your time moving around a classroom, or wired devices if you’ll be stationary.

Logitech solutions include the H390 USB Computer Headset with enhanced digital audio and in-line controls; the H800 Bluetooth wireless headset; the Logitech Zone Wireless Bluetooth headset with exceptional sound, flip-to-mute mic, and Qi wireless charging; the Logitech H570e Headset which is comfortable, affordable, and built to last; and the Logitech H650e Headset, which is a stylish and sophisticated headset for pro-quality audio.

Noise cancelling mic

Headphones should include microphones that mute external noise too, to ensure students hear just the educator’s voice, Logitech suggests.

A speakerphone can also be deployed as an alternative to a mic, in cases where a hybrid model means some students are in the class and some are at home. This allows students to hear each other's questions and input, wherever they are.

Top quality camera

With HD video cameras, students are able to experience the lesson as if they were really in the classroom, or even on a virtual field trip.

Logitech solutions include the C270 Basic HD 720p video calling webcam; the C930e advanced 1080p business webcam with H.264 support; the BRIO STREAM webcam for streaming, recording and video calling in 4K HDR; and the C920s for the highest quality video calling available at Full HD 1080p with privacy shutter. The Rally Plus Premium Ultra-HD ConferenceCam system with automatic camera control or the Logitech MEETUP all-in-one ConferenceCam for small conference rooms and huddle rooms deliver an inclusive classroom experience for learners.

Large monitor and speaker

To ensure students feel included, even when they are based at home, a large monitor and good quality speaker can be mounted where it can easily be viewed by both the teacher and students who are in the classroom.
