“Ivanti provides a well-rounded IT management solution that is increasingly proactive.”

Ivanti was named a leader in The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Service Management (ESM), Q4 2021 report. Evaluated alongside 14 other ESM providers, Ivanti earned the highest possible marks across the strategy criteria of product vision, innovation and execution roadmaps – with Forrester noting “the Ivanti Neurons portfolio covers everything from service management to device management and optimisation”.

In the report, Forrester acknowledges Ivanti’s “ambitious goal to move from reactive to proactive support” and its “investments in industry-specific applications”.

Think Tank Software Solutions, a premier, locally based Ivanti partner with offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, has been leveraging the enterprise service management software for some of South Africa’s largest companies across industries.

“One of the more impressive highlights in the Forrester Wave report was how Ivanti is making inroads into new ESM use cases – unlike some of its competitors, where the high additional costs and administrative work required limit the adoption of advanced features; our customers can better leverage Ivanti Neurons for ITSM and complement the platform’s flexibility to achieve their business goals,” said Think Tank Software Solutions Managing Director Greg Strydom.

“Especially with the pandemic and new hybrid ways of working, there is increased demand for technologies that automatically identify and resolve problems before they have the chance to impact the business, as well as those that help technicians visualise and diagnose services comprising complex tech components in seconds and minutes rather than hours,” continued Raaziq Gamieldien, Think Tank’s Professional Services Manager, who leads client implementation.

Ivanti’s approach for dealing with these trends is to help organisations move from manual or semi-automated processes to hyper-automation. Through hyper-automation, IT environments – particularly when using Ivanti Neurons for ITSM – continuously self-heal, self-secure devices and provide personalised self-service and user experiences. South African IT teams can now augment their ITSM capabilities with automated bots working hand-in-hand to autonomously sense, predict and remediate issues; to secure and service traditional and modern devices; and to place people at the centre of experiences for long-term competitive advantage.
