Westcon-Comztek appoints new Symantec channel manager for Central Africa

Leading value-added distributor, Westcon-Comztek has placed further importance on fruitful and profitable vendor and reseller partnerships through the appointment of Vadele Geel as the Symantec channel manager for the Central Africa region, responsible for the territories that include: Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Reporting to David Caygill, Software Solutions Director at Westcon-Comztek, Geel's role will be to guide, support and help its value-added resellers (VARs) to succeed in building new, and maintaining current, partnerships that are profitable for both parties throughout the Central Africa region.

"We are delighted to welcome Geel to the Symantec team at Westcon-Comztek and believe that her appointment will assist us in further taking the vendor's security products to market, as well as forging new relationships within our partner channel," states Caygill.

Prior to her appointment at Westcon-Comztek, Geel served a tenure at the Bytes Technology Group in the capacity of inside sales account manager and business operations specialist for its Microsoft Enterprise Services division.
