Vangent to improve DOD health system

Vangent has been awarded a $6.85-million deal to provide an improved healthcare procurement system for the US Defence Department, reports Washington Technology.

Vangent will replace the Defence Department's current procurement system with an integrated software and hardware solution called Prism.

Prism will be configured to address contract management processes, which are governed by the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

I-many hopes to obtain access to some of the greatest minds in the technology industry to drive improvements in its contract and revenue management technology.

Acteva, DocuSign partner

DocuSign, a provider of electronic signature solutions, has struck a deal with Acteva to implement the solution DocuSign for Salesforce, to accelerate its contract management process, says Your Story.

Acteva had sought a solution to streamline its manually intensive contract management practices and provide visibility into its sales processes.

According to Acteva, DocuSign for Salesforce has reduced the time to create contracts by one-third and has accelerated the contract signing process from 48 hours to 15 minutes.
