Upland Software, a leader in cloud-based and on-premises enterprise work management applications, today announced it has been positioned in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management (ECM)^1 for its FileBound document and workflow automation application.
"Upland's vision is to revolutionise the way organisations plan, manage and execute work, and the FileBound application is laser-focused on improving the way work flows throughout an organisation," said Sean Nathaniel, senior vice-president of technology at Upland Software and general manager of FileBound. "We believe being recognised on the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management is an indication that Upland's commitment to customer success and innovation addresses a critical need in the market." In addition to Upland's FileBound, the report includes the Web content management (WCM) capabilities of Upland's Clickability software.
Though this is Upland's first appearance on the ECM Magic Quadrant, Upland products have been evaluated in previous reports, including the Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Based IT Project and Portfolio Management Services^2 and Magic Quadrant for Integrated IT Portfolio Analysis Applications^3.
To appear in this Magic Quadrant, vendors had to meet Gartner's criteria for revenue, geographic presence, functional capabilities and "referenceability". Click here to access a complimentary copy of the 2014 Gartner Magic Quadrant for ECM.
