With about a month to go before this year's National Budget Speech, South Africans are invited to send their input to the National Treasury online.
The campaign is to give South Africans the opportunity to engage with finance minister Tito Mboweni and voice their suggestions on the national budget.
In a statement, Treasury says there would be, as usual, a balance that must be struck to give attention to competing priorities.
"It is in this context that minister Mboweni invites South Africans to share their views about economic conditions and other issues they would like government to highlight in the Budget," it states.
In particular, the minister would like public views on, among others, how SA can achieve faster and more equitable growth and what government can do differently in support of faster and more equitable growth, notes the Treasury.
Contributions can be submitted via the Treasury's Web site as well as through Twitter @TreasuryRSA with the hashtags #TipsForMinFin and #RSABudget2019.
Mboweni will deliver the 2019 Budget on 20 February.
