Touchline Media upgrades call centre

Touchline Media, a subsidiary of the Media 24 group, has invested in call centre technology from Spescom DataFusion - the contact centre operation of the JSE- and Nasdaq-listed Spescom group.

Touchline Media's subscriptions department purchased an Avaya MultiVantage platform (S8500 with G650s) with a call centre for 23 agent and 50 back office.

"The key factors motivating this investment were Avaya's robust and stable platform, augmented by the ease of administration and support services provided by the system," says Paul Fick, MD of Spescom DataFusion.

Touchline's subscriber contact centre handles all calls around subscriptions, renewals and promotions, for the different magazine houses within its stable. The Avaya architecture fits Touchline Media's vision for the future and can at any stage accommodate its future endeavours.

The installation, which was completed at the end of 2005, has proven to be highly successful.
