The Man Cave now fitted by Hisense

Cape Town, 26 Jun 2015

Greatness is often found in pairs. Look at Dr Dre and Eminem, Batman and Robin, Bond and Q, or Victor and Bakkies. For the third season of the highly successful men's lifestyle programme, The Man Cave has teamed up with a big player in the international tech scene - Hisense.

Hisense is a world-leading multinational that provides innovative, competitive and best-in-class consumer electronics and appliances around the globe. With Hisense coming aboard as main title sponsor, The Man Cave studio will naturally be kitted out with the latest and greatest products to be found in any well-respected, A-class man cave.

This will include the latest stainless steel French door fridges to keep the beer cold, and also brand new Hisense Smart Televisions for the weekend's sport. The top-of-the-range 75-inch and 65-inch Hisense Ultra HD LED televisions provide crystal clear picture quality thanks to the native 4K (3 840 x 2 160) resolution, while the on-board WiFi and Internet browsing capabilities will keep the studio connected.

Included in the third season will be a new segment called the Hisense Celebrity Selfie, where the latest Hisense smartphones, including the 5-inch Infinity H6 device, will be used by presenters to snap selfies with the array of interesting guests lined up for the show. Anchoring the show for the new season are The Man Cave regulars, Janez Vermeiren and Lunga Shabalala, while comedian and actor, Sivuyile 'Siv' Ngesi, joins them as Adventure Presenter. They are able to try Hisense products for themselves, with Hisense's 65-inch TV and new 7.86-inch Sero 8 Pro tablet available to take home for the duration of the show.

Ryan Curling, Brand Manager at Hisense, is excited about the partnership. "The fit between The Man Cave and Hisense is perfect. On the one hand, you have a trendsetting show that features all the latest in gadgets, tech and lifestyle activities. On the other, Hisense, which is known for high-quality products at affordable prices," he notes. "The fit between the ultimate man cave lifestyle and Hisense just made sense - whether it's watching sport on your Ultra HD LED television, getting through your day on a smartphone or tablet, or even taking care of dirty laundry with a top-of-the-range washing machine," Curling continues.

Yusuf Stevens, Company Director at Cheeky Media, producer of The Man Cave, agrees. "Returning with a third season of The Man Cave with a sponsor such as Hisense on board is great for our viewers. With such a strong overlap between what the show wants to achieve, and what Hisense offers, the third season of The Man Cave can only be a success," Stevens says.
