TDI hosts e-billing session
The Austin Field Office of the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation (TDI) is hosting a brown bag educational session on e-billing, according to Workers Compensation Info.
The session, which is aimed at healthcare providers, employers, human resource managers, claims adjusters, case managers and employee organisations, will be held on 18 January.
This free session will be held from 11:30 am to 12:30pm at the Milwood Branch of the Austin Public Library.
NETed issues grants
NETed has launched the NEED 2008 Grant offering up to 50% e-learning technology funding for qualified online universities, colleges and training providers, according to PR.com.
'NEED 2008' offers two unique programme benefits for higher education institutions. First, EduTechnology (iLearning) offers powerful third-generation learning and content technologies, by designing, managing, and implementing education and learning infrastructure for global delivery.
The second, EduMarketing (iMarketing), focuses on international student recruitment by designing and managing effective e-marketing campaigns for partners and agents.
AccentsSM adverts enhanced
TravelCLICK, a provider of e-marketing solutions for the hotel industry, and Travelport GDS, global distribution system (GDS) providers, have enhanced Worldspan AccentsSM advertising, according to 4Hoteliers.
The advertisements, which are marketed by TravelCLICK, distribute time-sensitive information to thousands of travel agent terminals worldwide and target agents at the point of sale.
The adverts now will appear at the top of agent hotel availability and car rental availability screens to ensure maximum visibility and an increased chance of booking.
