Software provider DataViz released an Add-on Kit for its Documents To Go Professional Edition at Comdex Chicago 2001 this week.
The kit includes PDF To Go, which allows users to view text and tables in Adobe PDF and DataViz mail, an application that enables users to receive e-mail and attachments on any handheld using Palm 3.0 or higher.
The PDF files will be displayed on the handheld as view only, the same as on the desktop.
DataViz Mail assumes the role of the Palm Desktop e-mail conduit, which allows users to receive attachments to e-mails when synching their mail.
DataViz Mail works with Outlook, Outlook Express and Lotus Notes. It also supports file formats in Word, Excel, WordPerfect, QuattroPro and Lotus 1-2-3.
