Superga Footwear runs on SAP

Superga Footwear, a brand well known for its range of colourful and dynamic prints, is thrilled about the recent implementation of its SAP Business One solution which is already having a positive impact on the way its business is run.

The SAP Business One application integrates all core business functions across an entire company, including financials, sales, customer relationship management, inventory, and operations. Unlike many other small business solutions on the market today, SAP Business One is a single application, eliminating the need for separate installations and complex integration of multiple modules.

“SAP Business One has provided Superga Footwear with the ability to rapidly roll out the management systems needed to support a growing business. It also enabled us to move from a purely wholesale business to one that now sees the incorporation of retail operations as a key strategy. SAP Business One has proved to be of great value to Superga and we won the SAP Best Run Business award,” says Craig Joseph, Financial Director, Superga.

According to Pankaj Pema, Head of Business One Africa: “SAP continues to work closely with its partners to develop solutions that are simple, proven, affordable and with industry-specific functionality that is based on rigorous quality standards. In the case of Superga Footwear, we worked closely with retail and distribution industry partner, Grenville Systems Development, to tailor the pre-packaged solution according to Superga's specific requirements, and we are content with the results.”

“Grenville Systems Development is an SAP Business One Partner and proud to be associated with the world's leading business software provider,” said Grenville's Martin Boruvka. “Superga Footwear was looking for a management solution that could address all their key functions and SAP Business One was the ideal application. Since the implementation, Superga has seen a great improvement in its stock management and control, due to the colour, size and style matrix implemented within SAP Business One which is tailored specifically for the fashion industry.

“In addition, we took part in the SAP Best Run Businesses competition because we wanted to showcase the outstanding results we saw from deploying the SAP Business One solution with our clients.”
