Striata appoints commercial director

Striata SA, a global leader in paperless communications, has appointed Nicola Els to the position of Commercial Director - effective 1 October 2011.

Els joined Striata in August 2008 as Head of eBilling, managing and developing Striata's successful eBilling business. “Nicola has assisted our clients implement electronic billing strategies that drive paperless objectives. She effectively led the eBilling team to manage and grow our customer base, which includes some of the biggest brands in South Africa,” says Alison Treadaway, MD of Striata SA.

“I am very excited for the new challenge that lies ahead. This new role encompasses both the eBilling and eMarketing sides of the Striata SA business, which expands my responsibility to include all direct digital communications. Companies need a holistic view of their outbound and inbound communications to fully engage with customers throughout the relationship,” says Els.

Els holds a BA LLB from the University of Johannesburg, and before joining Striata, was the National Sales, Support and Training Manager for an IT company specialising in property-related software.

“In her new position, as Commercial Director, Nicola is responsible for achieving the overall revenue goals of the company across retention and new business,” concludes Treadaway.
