Standard Bank purchases solution from Spescom

Johannesburg, 04 May 2006

Standard Bank has purchased a Web-based DataVoice Libra recording solution from Spescom DataFusion, for deployment in the Fraud Department of the Card Division contact centre.

The Libra recording solution will be used to record all calls of the 120 agents in the contact centre, which will be stored in a database on the recorder.

The solution was tailored to integrate tightly with the telephony environment to facilitate easy retrieval of calls based on called and originating telephone numbers.

Spescom DataFusion MD, Paul Fick, says the solution supplied to Standard Bank shows Spescom's commitment to addressing all requirements of its customers through rapid and efficient customisation of its proven recording technology.
