Spescom supplies contact centre technology to Calls United

Spescom DataFusion, the contact centre operation of the multinational Spescom group, has supplied the latest Avaya IP Office solution to Calls United.

Calls United is a German outsource call centre company that focuses on outbound campaigns for European businesses.

According to Spescom DataFusion MD, Paul Fick, a reliable, cost-effective solution was required.

"The Avaya platform is ideal because of its VOIP capabilities, consistency and scalability," says Fick.

"The solution supports the capture of both traditional telephony and data. Additional modules have been added enabling the customer to utilise a wide area network (WAN). This links the Cape Town office with the German operation and allows them to send data and make calls over the VOIP link."
