Johannesburg, 21 Oct 2004

This November, Cape Town will host the most prestigious international customer conference: Offshore Customer Management International Conference. It will attract expert speakers from the world`s most sophisticated customer management and BPO markets.

Taking advantage of their presence in the city, a one-day conference has been organised solely for leaders of the South African domestic contact centre and BPO industries.

At this special one-day conference, Customer Management South Africa, the expert panel of international speakers will present to delegates vital lessons from the world`s most advanced customer management and BPO markets - lessons that will help South African companies keep pace with growth, change and increasingly demanding customers.

The conference takes place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on Tuesday, 2 November. Confirmed speakers include Simon Gledhill, a global specialist in European, US and Far East markets and managing director of Connect Solutions; Evan Kirchhiemer, lead analyst at Datamonitor; Penny Bousfield, a director of CM Insight, the UK`s leading customer management consultancy; and Richard Smith, consulting partner with Deloitte.

The programme will also include local case studies and presentations on vocal clarity for international and local markets as well as staff recruitment and staff retention.

Delegates will also have an opportunity to join the delegates from the international conference at a networking lunch as well as have free access to the exhibition of contact centre and business processing operators as well as technology, infrastructure and service providers.

Take up of delegate places is already strong. Those interested in attending the Customer Management South Africa Conference should register online at www.offshorecm.com/cmsa or contact Harriet Ashworth at ICT Communications Ltd on 44 (0) 1932 354607 or harriet@ictcomms.com.
