The State IT Agency (SITA) has confirmed that chief of shared services Fatima Habib will leave at the end of the month.

Habib was the last remaining member of the organisation`s executive committee from ex-CEO Mavuso Msimang`s reign. Her exit follows the resignations of Jonas Bogoshi, chief of strategic services; Noedine Isaacs-Mpulo, chief of business operations; and Mfanyana Salanje, CFO.

SITA issued a statement this morning noting that Habib would step down at the end of the year to join an empowered financial services company. Habib has been with SITA for 18 months.

Meanwhile, new CEO Llewellyn Jones is making several additions to the executive committee.

From the beginning of next year, Emily Nthite will take over from Habib as chief of shared services. The company notes that Nthite is currently GM of talent management at SITA.

Ex-CIO of Transnet`s Freightdynamics division Eghshaan Khan takes the position of CIO. He joined SITA four months ago to head up its Information Management Services (IMS), a department within SITA`s Shared Services division. The IMS division will now report directly to Jones.

Andre Pretorius, GM of finance, will act in the position of CFO from the beginning of next year to the conclusion of the financial year-end and audit process. Following this, SITA says it will make a permanent appointment to the CFO position.
