Seagate realises BPO success

Seagate was named one of this year`s InfoWorld 100 winners in recognition of its success optimising business processes using the Metastorm ProVision enterprise modelling software, according to PR NewsWire.

Seagate is the worldwide leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of hard disc drives, providing products for a wide range of enterprise, desktop, mobile computing, and consumer electronics applications.

Using Metastorm`s software, Seagate was able to analyse business processes, make adjustments, and improve the quality of its products while also improving efficiency.

Xbridge uses Lombardi

Lombardi has announced that Xbridge will deploy its award-winning Teamworks BPM software suite in support of the organisation`s core business processes, according to BusinessWire.

"We found Lombardi`s out-of-the-box process optimisation and simulation capabilities to be much stronger than other products we reviewed," said David Brakoniecki, operations director at Xbridge.

"The ease of use and flexibility of Teamworks were extremely important factors, since our business is growing at such a fast pace."

Infineon supports compliance

Infineon has successfully supported IDS Scheer`s internal management assessment of compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), through an automated workflow, reducing the related time and expense, according to PR-Inside.

The company optimised Aris Solution for GRC Management (governance, risk and compliance) from IDS Scheer. The system provides a foundation for the creation of a central database for business processes.

Following an initial audit fiscal year in which substantial resources were deployed, Infineon decided to utilise an automated workflow for the SOX process.
