Sanlam Investment Management invests in Spescom DataFusion

Johannesburg, 10 Oct 2006

Sanlam Investment Management has purchased a DataVoice telephony recording solution from Spescom DataFusion.

Spescom DataFusion marketing manager, Pieter du Preez, says, "SIM purchased the recorder because of their requirement to record client and investment dealing communications as proof of transactions as well as being FICA compliant. FICA requires record keeping of transactions for 5 years."

The conversations to be recorded are at the discretion of SIM as the recording solution is done on the trunk side of the telephony switch.

Sanlam Investment Management has been using Spescom's technology for over 5 years.

DataVoice Technology supplied by Spescom DataFusion is installed in Sanlam Private Investments in Sandton, George and Pretoria.
