Samsung Electronics has unveiled its new line of premium smartphones, a smartwatch, an ultraportable laptop, as well as a tablet device.

The Galaxy Note10, Note10+, Galaxy Watch Active2, Galaxy Tab S6 and Galaxy Book S were launched at an event in San Francisco yesterday that was live-streamed to venues across the world.

In a statement, Samsung says its latest Note10 gives users the freedom to work the way they want and showcase their creative spirit, all on-the-go.

DJ Koh, president and CEO of IT and mobile communications division at Samsung, says: “From the very beginning, the Galaxy Note has stood for the best-of-the-best technologies and features. The Galaxy Note10 re-imagines this promise for the modern Note fan who uses their smartphone to take their productivity and creativity to the next level, and who effortlessly flows between ideas and endeavours at a moment’s notice.

“Every element of the Galaxy Note10 was designed to help users achieve more. Whether they’re finishing a big project for work, capturing and editing a video, or playing their favourite mobile game, the Galaxy Note10 will help them do it faster and better.”

According to the South Korean electronics manufacturer, every element of the Galaxy Note10 is crafted to be sleek, slim and distraction-free, so users can devote their full attention to the ideas, projects and content that matters most.

For the first time, the Galaxy Note10 comes in two sizes. Some of its features include the S Pen, a 6.3-inch edge-to-edge Cinematic Infinity Display and a Dynamic AMOLED display. It also comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

“With HDR10+ certification and Dynamic Tone Mapping, photos and videos are brighter than previous Note devices, and feature a stunning, wide colour range. The Eye Comfort display reduces blue light without affecting colour quality for comfortable viewing.”

The Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ will be available in Aura Glow, Aura White and Aura Black from 30 August, retailing for R18 999 and R22 999 respectively.
