Teknoforce was created as a response to Ricoh's desire to find a way to monetise the skill and depth of knowledge of its sales and IT force.

The programme will also be used as a way of adding to Ricoh's awareness within the IT market.

Energy saving report released

DisplayLink, a provider of networked display technology, released a study on the methods used to provide multi-display capability and their respective power requirements, according to Webwire.

The study aimed to help IT managers reduce in-office electrical consumption, and balance productivity gains in a digital environment.

The DisplayLink study measured power consumption at the entry of the computer power supply to gauge total system power usage under different system loads and found that one of the best ways to boost productivity is to add multiple displays to a PC for instantaneous access.
