RedLinX High Performance Systems (HPS hereafter) and SYNAQ have joined hands in servicing the growing SME market within South Africa.
SYNAQ, an innovative and dynamic company that focuses on delivering the power of Linux and open source software, while maintaining a high level of support through its unique Managed Linux Services approach, has been fitting Tyan servers (acquired from RedLinX HPS) to the SME market.
The most recent client to fit Tyan servers was GlobeCast South Africa. GlobeCast South Africa was provided with enterprise-grade hardware at a fraction of the cost of traditional enterprise hardware. This, coupled with the fact that the Tyan servers can be implemented quickly and are readily available, makes it ideal for the SME market.
SYNAQ chose to use Tyan servers, which are sold worldwide, based on the excellent product ability and cutting-edge engineering processes, coupled with the fact that the after-sales service, which they receive from RedLinX HPS - providing customers with high performance systems solutions and infrastructure - is exceptional.
Says Adi Meyers, Director: Managed Servers at SYNAQ: “We have had a standing relationship with RedLinX for the past 12 months. We acquire a very good product at a competitive price, and the level of service and quick response from RedLinX are of the highest standard.
“Our clients have tight deadlines and budgets, and we know that RedLinX is committed to delivering on time and within budget,” comments Meyers.
Says Graham Maart, Business Development Director at RedLinX: “At RedLinX HPS, service is a priority, therefore our team will always find the best and most cost-effective solution that has long-term sustainability for every customer's business.”
Commenting on if she will be utilising Tyan Servers (via RedLinX), in the near future, Meyers concludes: “Definitely. The pace in which the SME market is moving, we need cost-effective and reliable server hardware that can be sourced quickly and supported effectively. RedLinX provides us with such solutions.”
