Red Brick ships on 64-bit HP Unix

Red Brick Systems has announced the availability of a native, 64-bit version of Red Brick Warehouse 5.1, including Red Brick Vista, on Hewlett-Packard`s 64-bit operating environment, HP-UX 11. Red Brick customers and partners who have chosen HP`s 64-bit servers to deploy data warehousing applications will benefit from improved data access and increased multi-user scalability. These benefits result in quicker, more cost-efficient data analysis than through using traditional 32-bit computing systems. HP-UX 11 also provides a seamless transition to 64-bit computing for its existing 32-bit customers, highlighted by its ability to run existing applications without requiring any recoding or recompiling.
