Rectron has added Lenovo Data Center Group (DCG) to its data centre solutions portfolio. The announcement comes on the heels of the recent alliance between Rectron and Lenovo’s mobile business.
Today’s economy requires data centres to keep up with the rapid rate of business change and innovation, says Rectron. The technologies organisations invest in today should improve agility and remove bottlenecks to new opportunities, and Rectron hopes its partnership with Lenovo DCG will help it deliver exactly that.
Michael Finch, Rectron’s data centre business unit manager, says Lenovo is a tier-one global brand committed to the IT channel, and an ideal fit for Rectron and the direction in which it is moving.
He says his aim is to build long-lasting relationships between Rectron and its customers, by providing technical expertise to the channel through its data centre product management and presales teams, and helping generate new revenue opportunities for themselves and their customers.
According to Jim Holland, country manager of Lenovo Data Centre Group, when going to market, Lenovo DCG would be Rectron’s primary tier-one enterprise product supplier, and will be able to provide Lenovo DCG with the focus, attention and investment that it needs.
