Leading southern African consumer finance company, the RCS Group, has successfully migrated and consolidated all of the diverse RCS card portfolios onto the ACET Processing VisionPLUS* platform.
Based on the company's expertise in consumer lending, direct marketing, risk and analytics, RCS provides private label cards, co-branded cards and retail cards in partnership with leading southern African retailers. All of these card portfolios and RCS's own general purpose card will now be hosted on the outsourced ACET platform.
The RCS Group is an independent financial services organisation offering retail credit and personal finance to southern African consumers through a product range including cards, personal loans, home loans and insurance. Since its inception in 1999, RCS has provided credit and financial services to more than one million customers in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.
In addition to the account processing services provided by ACET on VisionPLUS, RCS will also make use of the TRIAD decision management system from FICO. TRIAD enables RCS to accurately predict risk and automate targeted treatments, while the iterative progress delivered by champion/challenger testing provides continual performance improvements to these portfolios.
Jaco Snyman, Chief Financial Officer at RCS, states: "ACET are our strategic partners and we recognise the opportunity to realise long-term value through following international best-practice in outsourcing the core processing services to a service provider which is an expert in this particular field. With all of our card accounts on the ACET platform, we expect to be able to offer a higher-value service to our customers and to respond rapidly to market opportunities."
Mike Crawley, CEO of ACET Processing, states: "Our relationship with RCS stretches back many years, and we are elated that they have entrusted ACET to manage the processing of all their portfolios. The success of the migration project is further testament to the considerable expertise and experience of the ACET team."
