As the financial year comes to an end for many companies and price increases take place all over the country, including in the access control and security industry, there is one company that will be taking the punch for its customers.
Powell Tronics has decided not to increase its prices for the next few months to give its valued customers the service and competitive advantage they have come to expect from Powell Tronics.
Why would Powell Tronics do this?
Firstly, the experienced and qualified sales teams at Powell Tronics are all involved with key projects and tenders with their respective customers. We took a concentrated look at how many of these projects were still in the pipeline from 2012 and decided to hold off from following the general industry product price increase to the market in SA, with the aim of allowing our customers to retain the margins they had planned for. Many of these tenders and projects take many months to see adjudication and fruition. The decision obviously benefits those working on new and existing business at the same time.
Secondly, we felt that this would be the most effective and most tangible manner in which to thank our valued customers for their loyal support over the past five years.
For how long will the price increases be absorbed by Powell Tronics?
At this time, the company will continue to maintain the 2012 prices until the end of June 2013.
