A two-day project portfolio management (PPM) maturity workshop will be held on 15 and 16 March in Johannesburg by PM Sight, a provider of project management solutions, management consulting, training, and research.
"Some organisations are not mature enough to understand the IT solutions they implement and therefore need to be made aware of the benefits of PPM when carried out effectively," says Paul Viviers, MD of PM Sight.
The workshop is designed to allow organisations, companies and individuals optimise resources and ensure all projects are aligned with the organisations` priorities and strategies, he says.
Through this workshop, says Viviers, CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, portfolio managers, programme managers and project managers across all industries will receive a good understanding of PPM best practices.
The workshop will be conducted by Paul Lombard, a senior faculty member of the Project Management College, who works internationally an organisational consultant, planner, educator, and curriculum developer.
