Pink Elephant, global leaders in IT management, today announced that Southern Sun, Africa's leading hotel group, will deploy Pink Elephant's ITSM Support Solutions to manage and develop its IT Service Desk.

Pink Elephant's ITSM Support Solutions focuses on the provision of Service Desk experts, experienced and certified to ITIL and Service Desk Institute standards, to provide customers with a true, world-class, single point of contact within their IT organisation.
Leveraging on Pink Elephant's reputation and global experience in the implementation and improvement of IT service management environments, ITSMSS provides the customer the opportunity to drive ITSM excellence from the inside out, without the ongoing concern of the management, development and retention of service desk analysts in a fluid market.
Southern Sun selected Pink Elephant for various reasons, the most pertinent being that Pink Support Solutions focus on Service Desk best practices and have the ability to leverage best practice framework expertise to the benefit of Service Desk operations and beyond.
Initially, Southern Sun's Service Desk supported four hotels until another 62 hotels came on board in September this year. The Service Desk now supports a total of 66 hotels.
