Phoenix Distribution enhances its offering across geographies with Avangate's commerce solution

Avangate, the leading digital commerce solution provider trusted by thousands of software and online services companies to grow their business worldwide, today announced that Phoenix Distribution, the leading value added distributor of software, accessories and peripherals across the African continent and the UK, has selected Avangate to power its e-commerce initiatives for the company's ESD division, delivering download and SaaS content across channels, including B2B and B2C.

Avangate powers the commerce engine for Phoenix' white label stores as well as the distributor's own portals across Africa and the UK, covering localised payments in multiple countries, product fulfilment and delivery, license and subscription management as well as marketing and promotional functionalities. Avangate's platform comes with robust subscription and client management capabilities, as well as reporting specific to recurring revenue models and API integration for plugging into clients' and resellers' back-end systems.

Phoenix distribution also utilises Avangate's Affiliate management module to tap in to the digital commerce provider's strong base of software and SaaS titles of recognisable global brands such as Abbyy, Bitdefender or Kasperksy.
