Elliott International, one of South Africa`s largest removal companies, has selected Pastel Evolution to meet its requirement for a more stable, technologically advanced accounting system. Pastel Evolution replaces the company`s dated, proprietary application, and the 90-user site is now fully operational as of April 2006.

"Pastel Evolution`s Microsoft SQL database successfully addressed Elliott International`s specialised requirement for a system that offered an easy implementation and allowed for all branches (locally and internationally) to seamlessly connect and transact," says Mohammed Mosam, Director of Pastel Evolution, a division of Softline Pastel.

The business intelligence functionality has also improved and empowered management to create user-defined management reporting capabilities easily within the flexible environment of Microsoft Excel. The flexibility of Pastel Evolution has allowed Elliott`s business processes to become more streamlined and efficient while still maintaining strict accounting and operational controls.

"Pastel Evolution`s ease of use allows it to be operated with even the most basic accounting knowledge, and fulfilled our requirement to realise maximum value within budget," says Dave Hibbert, Elliott International CFO.
