Panda gains in Gartner rankings

Panda Security has been included as a Visionary in the 'Gartner Magic Quadrant for Endpoint Protection Platforms', published on 22 December 2014 - for the seventh consecutive year. This year saw Panda improve its positioning within the quadrant, testament to the company's expansion and products.

The report evaluated all vendors in the endpoint protection platforms market based on their products, completeness of vision and ability to execute.

"Our latest position within the quadrant is evident that our new technologies incorporated over the last year have been very successful. This highlights that Panda Security is the first vendor in the endpoint protection platforms market to offer a service that classifies all executables running on endpoints, which represents significant innovation compared to other products within the same category," emphasises Jeremy Matthews, Country Manager for Panda Security.

This new evaluation strengthens the path taken years ago by Panda Security towards a strategy that is fully committed to offering cloud-based services and a new protection model.

In 2006, Jeremy Matthews founded Panda's local subsidiary in Cape Town, opening the international vendor's first presence on the African continent.
