Pace unveils cloud TV platform
Set-top box maker Pace has rolled out Elements, a content management platform for the broadcast and broadband industries, reports Telecom Paper.
Elements software platform allows users to create live TV experiences by personalising their TV viewing, recommending must-see moments to friends, and social networking.
Rapid TV News says Elements offers cloud-based capabilities within video and broadband software. Pace says it is giving operators full control to develop their services how and when they want.
Broadband TV News reveals the cloud-based interface makes it possible to access content in a consistent way across a broad-range of connected devices.
Mark Loughran, Pace regional president, says: “Consumers are demanding new services, but want home entertainment to be a straightforward, enjoyable experience - as simple as turning on a light switch.”
