OS33 integrates Google Apps into service platform

OS33, the feature-rich IT as a service delivery platform, last week announced integration with Google Apps for Business, The Sacramento Bee reports.

The highly anticipated integration enables businesses to easily deliver, manage and consume Google Apps services as part of a unified IT solution that includes Microsoft Windows and SaaS applications, from any device and browser via OS33's flagship Webtop (web-based desktop).

Managed service providers can now integrate Google Apps' e-mail, calendar and collaboration tools as part of their cloud computing offerings, giving them a competitive advantage, MSP News notes.

Google Apps may be easily deployed along with other IT assets through the OS33 management interface.

The Webtop interface enables users to log into a browser-based portal to gain access to all their IT services through a single unified interface. They may access a summary of their Gmail and Calendar activities while also seamlessly interacting with other IT services and resources.

According to Market Watch, OS33 enables companies to shift their IT resources to the cloud, including line-of-business applications and services, and unify them in a single interface.

Companies can lower their monthly costs by working with Google Apps. OS33 gives end-users a customisable Webtop interface to access all their IT assets, and company administrators a way to scale user accounts up and down, in just minutes, while easily controlling permissions.
