OpenText (NASDAQ: OTEX, TSX: OTC), the global leader in enterprise information management (EIM), today announced that it has been named by the New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs as one of three high-profile panel providers selected to supply government agencies with cloud-based enterprise content management (ECM). These cloud-based services will enable access to data any time, anywhere, from any device.

Through the delivery of an up-to-date, standardised, simplified technology platform based around OpenText's integrated Content Suite, the New Zealand government agencies will be able to:

* Quickly and easily locate relevant data to be repurposed or shared
* Manage and govern information throughout its entire life cycle
* Seamlessly collaborate with users within and outside of the organisation
