OpenSpan unveils BPM initiative

A business process management (BPM) initiative has been unveiled by OpenSpan, a player in user management software, in conjunction with Uber Operations, writes Jabber Lounge.

The OpenSpan technology complements the BPM strategy giving enterprises the ability to monitor precisely what users are doing. This process claims to be able to be used for any operation, making BPM easier to coordinate.

The project began in 2008 and has grown from strength to strength from then. Uber Operations is a provider of IT services for healthcare, while OpenSpan creates BPM software for a global market.

TCS core workflow solution goes live

Tata Consultancy Services IT services announced that its solution for core workflow automation at the Central Vigilante Commission (CVC) had gone live, says My Iris.

The new solution will enable the CVC to speed up the pace of processing cases and complaints by automating administrative tasks, providing faster access to information arid allowing CVC officials to complete investigations more efficiently.

Set up In 1964, CVC is India`s apex vigilance institution, monitoring all vigilance activity under the Central Government.

Telestream showcases workflow products

Telestream, a California based provider of digital media tools and workflow solutions, will feature several new software products at IBC 2010 in stand 7.D16 states TV Technology

Vantage is Telestream's latest enterprise-class workflow design and automation software solution for video capture, transcoding, metadata processing, analysis, management and delivery in IT video environments.

With Vantage's video workflow design capability, it is claimed that media, metadata, analysis data and process flows can be built independently of video file formats or video systems.
