Nokia has unveiled its N96 model, its flagship multimedia computer in the Nseries range, says The Sun.

The N96 features live TV, 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, turn-by-turn voice navigation, 16GB of internal memory, superior sound and music, N-Gage gaming and 2.8-inch display together in one device.

"The Nokia N96 blends phone and multimedia options seamlessly with the Nseries dual slider that makes discovering and sharing experiences easy," says Vlasta Berka, GM of Nokia Malaysia.

DiVitas releases updated software

DiVitas has released an improved version of its software application for shifting mobile phone calls between cellular and WiFi networks, says Network World.

The new version is software only, no longer requiring the original DiVitas appliance and the client code, running on the cellphone, sports a full graphical user interface and support for PBX features.

The DiVitas 2.0 software will be the basis of a Sawtel service that will let business users with dual-mode cellphones roam between WiFi and cellular networks, send and manage e-mail and instant messaging sessions, and access PBX features such as call forwarding and extension dialling.

AT&T transforms home phone

AT&T reveals that its home phone combines Internet access and popular wireless phone applications with traditional home phone service, reports TMCnet.

With a compact, 7-inch colour touch-screen frame and portable speaker phone, AT&T HomeManager provides one-touch access anywhere in the home to Internet content, including visual voice mail, weather reports, e-mail access and local news.

From a broadband-enabled base station, information is sent directly to the cordless touch-screen, delivering quick and easy access to important information when needed.
