With less than two months to go before the latest Apple iPhone is expected to be released, a video allegedly detailing what the iPhone 7 will look like has been leaked to Chinese social media network, Weibo.
The video also appeared on French site nowhereelse, which is known for reporting accurately on Apple predictions.
The new iPhone is expected to be released in September.
Apple will reportedly release a 4.7-inch iPhone 7 and 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus or Pro, the same sizes that were introduced with the iPhone 6 in 2014.
The video claims both smartphones look very similar, with most of the updates happening on the inside.
The iPhone 7 looks like it will keep its slim aluminium profile, but the antenna will run along the sides and not the back.
The back camera on the supposed iPhone 7 is also much larger than the current iPhone's camera. This reinforces rumours that the new smartphone camera will see a substantial upgrade and possibly include a dual-camera setup, and support for laser auto-focus.
The video also shows there is no headphone jack in the new phone. Since last year, reports claimed Apple will do this, forcing users to use Bluetooth headphones, or buy a new headset with an iOS-only Lightning connector.
Instead, the area that usually has a headphone jack is occupied by a second set of speakers.
The iPhone 7 in the video is space grey, and there was no mention of what other colours Apple may be planning. In 2014, it expanded its range to include gold, and last year, rose gold.
Other features rumoured to be integrated into the next iPhone rendition include waterproofing, a bigger battery and a faster processor.
Apple needs to drive up sales of its smartphones to regain market share from rival Android.
In April, a day after the company reported its first fall in smartphone sales, Apple's shares closed down 6.3% at $97.82, wiping off about $36 billion in market value.
At the time, Reuters reported analysts saying the company's immediate future rests with iPhone 7.
"If iPhone 7 doesn't surprise with meaningful new useful features, we worry that consumers won't upgrade," Macquarie analyst Ben Schachter wrote in a note to clients.
"And unfortunately, nothing that we've seen about iPhone 7 thus far strikes us as particularly innovative."
The leaked video suggests Apple is giving the iPhone 7 features that a lot of top-end Android phones already have, but at much lower prices.
