NetApp announced today that Mike Styer has been appointed to the position of Country Manager South Africa. In his new role, he holds managerial authority for all aspects of the NetApp business in South Africa. This includes developing and leveraging corporate sales and marketing strategies, enhancing the partner business to deliver more value for end-users and expanding the NetApp customer base. Mike will report directly to Martyn Molnar, Regional Sales Director Middle East, North and South Africa.

I believe that Mike, with his comprehensive knowledge of the industry both from a vendor and customer perspective and backed by an experienced team, is ideally equipped to lead our sales and marketing efforts.”
Mike Styer has over 20 years' experience working in the IT and communication sector. Prior to joining NetApp, Mike was Senior Manager for Mobile Telephone Networks in charge of IS Infrastructure Planning and Design. In his role at MTN, Mike gained firsthand a strong understanding of IT architecture, it infrastructure, storage, server, software and application technology disciplines and was often involved in projects in enhancing the MTNSA data centres in Johannesburg.
