MS ties CRM to Twitter

Microsoft has integrated its Dynamics customer relationship management (CRM) software with Twitter, in just the latest move by an enterprise software company to latch onto the wildly popular micro-blogging service, reports PC World.

The social-networking accelerator - part of three new add-on modules Microsoft is releasing for Dynamics CRM - culls and catalogues relevant Twitter messages, such as a discussion about the Dynamics user's company, and provides various analytic tools.

The integration is also meant to help Dynamics users boost their sales databases.

Nice releases call recording solution

Nice Systems, a global provider of solutions enabling organisations to extract insight from interactions, introduced Nice Perform eXpress, which delivers cost-efficient call recording for regulatory compliance, reports Call Centre Clinic.

Nice Perform eXpress is designed for the specific needs of branches in larger corporations and small to medium contact centres, trading floors, and back offices.

The new offering can be quickly deployed with minimal maintenance requirements, and low total cost of ownership.

Najm turns to Avaya

Najm, an insurance service company, has turned to Avaya for contact centre solutions to manage the growing volume of calls from drivers involved in road accidents, according to Eye of Dubai.

Najm is authorised to determine responsibility for road accidents and remove vehicles from roads in order to facilitate traffic flow, in addition to contacting insurance companies and helping drivers who have valid motor insurance.

Avaya has supplied a robust communications infrastructure for Najm's six branches across the kingdom in order to facilitate the smooth flow of information between branches and Najm's contact centre.
